Today, I had the pleasure of meeting some great people at the well-being roadshow hosted at Green Park for a company called Pierre Fabre. This event was organised by the marvellous Green Park events team as part of their regular offerings. The roadshow featured a diverse array of mental and physical health, lifestyle, educational, and sustainability-related exhibits, not to mention an abundance of complimentary goodies.
It's truly refreshing to see organisations prioritising their employees' well-being to such an extent. Green Park is undoubtedly leading the charge in employee well-being initiatives, and their picturesque surroundings amplify the experience. I am looking forward to the upcoming outdoor well-being event on Wednesday 12th of June.
Too many companies simply go through the motions when it comes to employee well-being, relying solely on health insurance to provide a handful of therapy sessions after lengthy waiting periods if an employee hits a crisis point. What we really need are proactive organisations willing to invest in preventative solutions that address stress before it becomes overwhelming.
Prevention is always better than cure, and life can throw some real curveballs at times but seeking assistance during turbulent life events is a wise way to avoid more serious issues further down the line. Whether it's family strife, stress, divorce, grief, or simply not feeling quite like your usual self - acting sooner rather than later can help you get back to your old self and positive mindset.
